Oyster Repopulation

Your donation will help to restore the ecosystem in the Great South Bay through Oyster Repopulation and oyster farm sustainability, utilizing unique technology & methods. Clams and Oysters once filtered the entire Great South Bay once every 2 ½ days. At current population levels it takes 100 days to filter the bay. We must repopulate the bay to have a positive impact.

Put Recovery to Work

Providing opportunities to those in recovery who are ready to take the next step. Your donation will go towards assisting businesses hiring individuals in the first year of employment, financial support & tools for individuals in recovery, to remove barriers to employment. We also partner with substance recovery organizations & other groups who provide treatment to those in recovery.

Recovery Friendly Workplace

Employers play a vital role in ending the stigma associated with addiction and mental health. With your help, the Gino Macchio Foundation will work with local businesses and governments to create and maintain recovery friendly practices in the workforce.
