The Oyster Boat
EFFICIENT HARVEST & TRANSPORT
We have launched our first specifically designed Oyster Boat. Our all aluminum boat will provide Oyster farmers with harvesting the oysters and transporting them in order to market.
Oyster Processing Trailer
OYSTER FARMER SUSTAINABILITY
We have completed the design and build of our Oyster Processing Trailer. Our goal in building the trailer to was to help the Oyster farmer increase profitability and effectiveness in order to sustain his business.
The Oyster Station & Mini Barge
BRINGING THE TOOLS TO THE FARMS
This state-of-the-art work station and mini barge will serve the Oyster Farms in the Great South Bay, giving farmers direct access to equipment, and supplies which are impossible to transport on farming vessels.
Educate the Spats Program
TEACHING OUR YOUTH
The Educate the Spats Program visits local schools and provides seminars for the students about Oysters, the ecosystem and how they keep our water clean.
CORE VALUES & OBJECTIVES
Restoring the ecosystem in the Great South Bay through Oyster Repopulation is feasible with smart solutions. We are using technology developed by the Gino Macchio Foundation and efficient methods to create Sustainable Oyster Farms.
The Gino Macchio Foundation understands the importance of finding employment that feeds the soul. We take pride in empowering individuals in recovery with our Put Recovery to Work program while helping struggling oyster farmers.
Through our Educate the Spats program, the Gino Macchio Foundation is teaching our young generations about the local ecosystem and how to protect the environment for generations to come.
We are committed to fighting the stigma associated with addiction and mental health both at home and at the workplace. The Gino Macchio Foundation works with local businesses and governments to foster Recovery Friendly Workplaces.
